Ingredients
- 1 Northern Ireland Farm Quality Assured sirloin steak
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 Onion
- 700 g Cherry tomatoes
- 60 g Fresh basil
- 1 x 15 ml spoon (1 tbsp) Olive oil
- 480 g Dried pasta
- 1 x 5 ml spoon (1 tsp) Ground black pepper
- 120 g Crumbled goats cheese

Method
- Peel and crush the garlic. Peel and finely chop the onion.
- Cut the cherry tomatoes in half.
- Thinly slice the basil.
- Heat the oil in a large saucepan and cook the onion and garlic until soft.
- Add the tomatoes and cook for 3 minutes until they start to soften. Add the basil and stir.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and set aside.
- Bring water to the boil in a large saucepan, add the pasta and cook for 10-12 minutes. Drain the pasta.
- Add the tomatoes to the pasta and stir. Cover with tin foil to keep warm and set aside.
- Season the steak with black pepper.
- Heat a frying pan or skillet and cook the steak for 4 minutes on each side.
- Remove the steak from the pan and cut into thin slices.
- Serve the pasta with the steak slices and top with the crumbled goats cheese.
