Ingredients
- 2 x 10 oz Northern Ireland Farm Quality Assured sirloin steaks
- Green beans
- 1 Garlic clove
- 1 x 5 ml (1 tsp) Oil
- A small pinch of dried chilli flakes
Marinade
- 1 Large garlic clove
- 1 Inch piece of fresh ginger
- 1 Lime
- 100 ml Teriyaki sauce
- A small pinch of dried chilli flakes

Method
- Pre heat the oven to 200oC/Gas mark 6.
Prepare the marinade:
- Peel and crush the garlic;
- Peel and grate the ginger;
- Juice the lime;
- Place the garlic, ginger and lime in a bowl, add the teriyaki sauce and chilli flakes and mix well.
Method
- Place the steaks into the marinade, making sure the steaks are well coated. Cover the bowl with cling film and place in the fridge to marinate for 2 hours.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan and fry the steaks for 1 minute on each side to seal.
- Remove the steaks from the pan and place on a baking tray.
- Add the marinade to the frying pan and bring to the boil, simmer for 2 minutes.
- Pour the marinade over the steaks and cook for 8-10 minutes in the oven.
- While the steaks are cooking, cook the green beans in boiling water for 1 minute then drain.
- Peel and crush the garlic.
- Heat the oil in a separate frying pan and add the garlic, green beans and chilli flakes and cook for 3 minutes.
- Remove the steaks from the oven and leave to rest for 2 minutes.
- Slice the steaks and serve on top of the green beans with the sauce.
