Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 Onion finely chopped
- 2 Garlic cloves crushed
- 1 Carrot finely diced
- 500 g Northern Ireland Quality Assured Steak Mince
- 2 tbsp Tomato puree
- 400 g Tin chopped tomatoes
- 200 ml Beef stock
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Mixed herbs
- 1 tsp Honey
- Sea salt and freshly ground pepper

Method
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, and carrot. Cook for 3 - 4 minutes until soft.
- Add the steak mince and cook for 5 minutes, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, until browned.
- Stir in tomato puree, then add chopped tomatoes, beef stock, Worcestershire sauce, mixed herbs, honey, salt and pepper.
- Lower the heat and let it simmer uncovered for 15 - 20 minutes until thickened. Stir occasionally.
- While the sauce simmers, cook the spaghetti in salted boiling water per packet instructions (usually 10 minutes). Drain.
- Toss the spaghetti with the Bolognese sauce, arrange it into warm bowls, and sprinkle it with Parmesan and fresh basil.
