Key Stage 2

This section contains information on LMC cookery demonstrations for Key Stage 2 pupils.

The Livestock and Meat Commission (LMC) launched the initial round of its primary school education programme in May 2022. LMC offered 100 cookery demonstrations for primary schools and was pleased by the extremely positive rate of uptake.  

The opening round saw over 1800 pupils have participated in the Key Stage 2 cookery demonstrations. These pupils had an opportunity to learn about the health and environmental benefits of Northern Ireland Farm Quality Assured (NIFQA) beef and lamb.

LMC primary school cookery demonstrations will relaunch in Spring 2023. Further information and resources will be available in due course.
