BBQ beef kebabs

Ingredients

  • 375 g Northern Ireland Farm Quality Assured lean beef steak, cut into cubes
  • 2 tbsp quick barbeque marinade
  • 1 red onion cut into chunks, the same size as the steak
  • 1 red pepper cut into chunks, the same size as the steak
  • 1 courgette cut into chunks, the same size as the steak

Method

  • Marinade the beef cubes for 5 minutes.
  • Thread the beef cubes and the vegetables onto the skewers. If using wooden skewers soak before use.
  • On a separate chopping board, cut the beef into chunks the same size as the vegetables.  Remember to thoroughly wash your hands after handling raw meat.
  • Cook over a hot barbeque, turning until all sides are cooked.
  • Alternatively cook under a pre-heated grill.
  • Serve with a mixed salad and crusty bread.
