    Ingredients
    • 2 x 10 oz Northern Ireland Farm Quality Assured sirloin steaks
    • Green beans
    • 1 Garlic clove
    • 1 x 5 ml (1 tsp) Oil
    • A small pinch of dried chilli flakes

    Marinade

    • 1 Large garlic clove
    • 1 Inch piece of fresh ginger
    • 1 Lime
    • 100 ml Teriyaki sauce
    • A small pinch of dried chilli flakes

    Method
    • Pre heat the oven to 200oC/Gas mark 6.

    Prepare the marinade:

    • Peel and crush the garlic;
    • Peel and grate the ginger;
    • Juice the lime;
    •   Place the garlic, ginger and lime in a bowl, add the teriyaki sauce and chilli flakes and mix well.

    Method

    • Place the steaks into the marinade, making sure the steaks are well coated. Cover the bowl with cling film and place in the fridge to marinate for 2 hours. 
    • Heat a non-stick frying pan and fry the steaks for 1 minute on each side to seal.
    • Remove the steaks from the pan and place on a baking tray.
    • Add the marinade to the frying pan and bring to the boil, simmer for 2 minutes.
    • Pour the marinade over the steaks and cook for 8-10 minutes in the oven.
    • While the steaks are cooking, cook the green beans in boiling water for 1 minute then drain.
    • Peel and crush the garlic.
    • Heat the oil in a separate frying pan and add the garlic, green beans and chilli flakes and cook for 3 minutes.
    •  Remove the steaks from the oven and leave to rest for 2 minutes.
    • Slice the steaks and serve on top of the green beans with the sauce.
