The Classroom 2000 project involves installation of more than 40,000 new desktop computers with high-speed internet access into schools across Northern Ireland. They will be used by teachers and pupils to access teaching resources, such as Food4Life, both from school and from home. Unlike CD ROMs and printed material, internet-based resources also have the distinct advantage of being able to be updated in response to changes in the curriculum and teachers' needs. Feedback from teachers and pupils on the effectiveness of this resource is therefore encouraged, as it is only by giving us your views that we may reach our goal of providing a first class teaching resource.
