Teachers Area
How Is It Structured
How is it structured?
It is the objective of this website to communicate important information in a fun and interactive way. Each key stage in the life cycle contains three basic activities:
- A question and answer activity covering a broad range of issues relevant to that particular key stage in the life cycle.
- A more in-depth, practical activity based on a nutritional issue relevant to that particular key stage in the life cycle
- A free-response worksheet activity linked to a practical cookery class.
- A forth area to explore topics in greater depth.
The activities vary in their level of difficulty and in the level of input required by the pupil.
The website has been designed so that activities may be used together, or in isolation, depending on the ability of the pupils, and on the teaching time available. It is envisaged that elements will be suitable for both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils.
