Ingredients
- 350 g Northern Ireland Farm Quality Assured fillet beef steak
- 1 Small onion
- 1 Medium pepper
- 100 g Mangetout
- 2 x 15 ml (2 tbsp) Teriyaki sauce
- 2 x 5 ml (2 tsp) Sunflower oil
- 2 x 5 ml (2 tsp) Reduced salt soy sauce

Method
- Pre-heat the grill to medium-hot
Prepare the vegetables:
- Peel, remove the top and bottom of the onion. Cut into quarters and separate into layers;
- Remove the stalk and seeds from the pepper and slice into thin strips;
- Trim the mangetout.
Method
- On a separate chopping board, slice the steaks into thin strips. Remember to wash your hands thoroughly after handling raw meat.
- Place the steak and onions in a shallow dish and pour over the teriyaki sauce. Remember to thoroughly wash your hands after handling raw meat.
- Leave to marinate for 30 minutes.
- While the steak and onions are marinating, soak the wooden skewers in cold water.
- Remove the steak from the marinade.
- Carefully thread the steak strips onto the skewers and place on the grill pan. Remember to wash your hands thoroughly after handling raw meat.
- Grill the steak skewers for 8 minutes, turning after 4 minutes.
- While the steak skewers are cooking, heat the sunflower oil in a non-stick frying pan or wok.
- Add the onion, pepper and mangetout to the pan and cook for 3 minutes.
- Add the soy sauce and stir well.
- Remove the steak skewers from the grill and serve on top of the vegetables.
