    Ingredients
    • 350 g Northern Ireland Farm Quality Assured fillet beef steak
    • 1 Small onion
    • 1 Medium pepper
    • 100 g Mangetout
    • 2 x 15 ml (2 tbsp) Teriyaki sauce
    • 2 x 5 ml (2 tsp) Sunflower oil
    • 2 x 5 ml (2 tsp) Reduced salt soy sauce

    Method
    • Pre-heat the grill to medium-hot

    Prepare the vegetables:

    • Peel, remove the top and bottom of the onion. Cut into quarters and separate into layers;
    • Remove the stalk and seeds from the pepper and slice into thin strips;
    • Trim the mangetout.

    Method

    • On a separate chopping board, slice the steaks into thin strips.  Remember to wash your hands thoroughly after handling raw meat.
    • Place the steak and onions in a shallow dish and pour over the teriyaki sauce.  Remember to thoroughly wash your hands after handling raw meat.
    • Leave to marinate for 30 minutes.
    • While the steak and onions are marinating, soak the wooden skewers in cold water.
    • Remove the steak from the marinade.
    • Carefully thread the steak strips onto the skewers and place on the grill pan.  Remember to wash your hands thoroughly after handling raw meat.
    • Grill the steak skewers for 8 minutes, turning after 4 minutes.
    • While the steak skewers are cooking, heat the sunflower oil in a non-stick frying pan or wok.
    • Add the onion, pepper and mangetout to the pan and cook for 3 minutes.
    • Add the soy sauce and stir well.
    • Remove the steak skewers from the grill and serve on top of the vegetables.
